Historic aircraft from the Austrian Hangar 7 collection have been regular participants at Aviatická in Pardubice for many years. This tradition will continue in 2026, as they return for the 34th edition of Aviatická, taking place over the weekend of May 30–31 at its new venue—Hradec Králové Airport.
“Aircraft bearing the distinctive bull markings are a traditional highlight. They first appeared in Pardubice back in 2000, and since then we have witnessed many remarkable displays in the Pardubice skies, including several premieres. We are delighted that aircraft from the unique Hangar 7 collection in Salzburg will also attend this year’s Aviatická in Hradec Králové,” says Jan Rudzinskyj from the organizing team.
“I mentioned premieres—and these were not only Czech premieres. Aviatická has also repeatedly been the venue for European airshow debuts of aircraft from Austria. As our fans already know, this year we can look forward to the European premiere of the American Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat, a unique fighter aircraft from the final stages of World War II. Our first such premiere dates back to 2009, when we watched in awe the polished surface of the twin-boom American fighter Lockheed P-38 Lightning. Although the Lightning has since visited the Czech Republic several times, it still draws well-deserved attention thanks to its distinctive shape and impressive flight performance.
Continuing with European premieres, last year we had the opportunity to see the legendary World War II American aircraft P-51D Mustang named Nooky Booky IV. Interestingly, the Mustang bearing this name also took part in combat operations over Czech territory towards the end of the war. This aircraft will appear again this year. The collection of historic gems from Hangar 7 at this year’s Aviatická will also include the famed naval fighter Chance Vought F4U-4 Corsair.”

“As is clear from the list of aircraft, we can look forward to a lineup of truly exceptional machines that will impress not only with their design and historical value, but above all with their superb flying displays. Visitors to this year’s Aviatická will be able to witness all of this firsthand over the weekend of May 30–31 at Hradec Králové Airport,” adds Jan Rudzinskyj.
Aviatická remains a traditional full-day event for the whole family. On both Saturday and Sunday, a varied ground program will be prepared, featuring numerous presentations and activities for children and adults alike. The flying display itself will last more than five hours.
