Hradec Králové, May 21, 2026 – The 34th edition of Aviatická pouť marks the biggest change in the event’s history. After decades of success in Pardubice, the Czech Republic’s largest civilian airshow is moving to Hradec Králové Airport. During today’s press conference, organizers unveiled the full programme for the weekend of May 30–31, 2026. Visitors can look forward to a five-hour flying display as well as an extensive all-day ground programme.
A key moment of this year’s edition, symbolizing the beginning of a new era, will be the ceremonial signing of a four-party memorandum of cooperation attended by the Governor of the Hradec Králové Region Petr Koleta and the Mayor of Hradec Králové Pavlína Springerová. The agreement confirms long-term support for Aviatická pouť from both the region and the city, creating a stable foundation for the future development of the event.
The fastest and most advanced military aircraft of this year’s show will be a pair of Eurofighter Typhoon fighters from Neuburg Air Base (Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 74 / Bavarian Tigers). One aircraft will perform a dynamic solo display pushing the limits of physics, while the second aircraft will be presented in the static display area. The flying display will be performed by the demonstration pilot known by the callsign NOBLE, for whom the 2026 season marks his farewell year.
The complete fleet of Flying Bulls will arrive from Salzburg, Austria. Visitors will see the legendary P-51D Mustang, the same aircraft type flown by Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick. Also appearing will be the elegant twin-engine Lockheed P-38 Lightning, closely connected to the story of author and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, as well as the iconic Vought F4U Corsair with its distinctive folding wings.
One of the most visually spectacular highlights will be the performance by Swedish team Scandinavian Airshow. Their bright yellow Grumman Ag Cat will feature two wingwalkers performing on the aircraft’s wings during flight.
Leading Czech aerobatic pilot Martin Šonka will present his thrilling solo routine in the Extra 300SR. He will also introduce the new Zlín Z-242 Genus trainer operated by state company LOM PRAHA and the Pardubice Flight Training Centre.
The Flight Training Centre will showcase the brand-new L-39NG Skyfox together with the legendary L-39 Albatros.
The Czech Air Force will also perform flypasts with the JAS 39 Gripen and parachute jumps from the CASA C-295M.
The legendary Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team, an inseparable part of Aviatická pouť history, will once again deliver top-level formation aerobatics.
The heritage of the Czechoslovak aviation school will be represented by a precision formation display of four historic Zlín Trenér aircraft.
Visitors will also see the historic T-34 Mentor, the iconic Bell AH-1 Cobra and the modern Enstrom 480B-G.
Swiss group Classic Formation will arrive with the legendary Douglas C-47 Skytrain and two Beechcraft Twin Beech aircraft, performing the extremely demanding discipline of twin-engine formation flying.
The new venue at Hradec Králové Airport allows organizers to present an extensive ground programme divided into several thematic zones.
Military history remains an integral part of Aviatická pouť. Historical encampments, military vehicles and battle reenactments combined with pyrotechnic effects will create a unique atmosphere throughout the event.
Visitors will also commemorate the legacy of Czechoslovak RAF pilots through the exhibition “We Shall Remain Faithful” and authentic wartime-style RAF briefings.
The Czech Army ground forces will present modern armored vehicles, tanks, logistics equipment and displays of special forces gear.
Police of the Czech Republic and Prison Service of the Czech Republic will perform dynamic demonstrations including arrests of dangerous suspects, special intervention tactics, police dog demonstrations and mounted police crowd-control exercises.
A large children’s competition trail will celebrate International Children’s Day. At ten activity stations, children will complete aviation and sports-themed challenges and receive gifts. Every participating child will also automatically enter a prize draw to win a family holiday worth CZK 30,000.
