Aerobatics have always been one of the highlights of airshows, and the Aviation Fair is no exception. This year, spectators will once again be treated to thrilling aerial displays over the Pardubice airport on the weekend of June 7–8.
„The star of the solo aerobatic performances will be Czech pilot Petr Kopfstein. We’ve seen his skills at previous editions of the fair, and they’ve always earned well-deserved admiration from the audience. His precise execution of all aerobatic maneuvers clearly reflects his success as a competitive aerobatics pilot and the thorough preparation he puts into every performance. During the days of the Red Bull Air Race, he even competed in that prestigious series. For this season, he’s prepared a brand-new routine for airshows, and we can certainly look forward to being pleasantly surprised by what Petr Kopfstein will showcase in Pardubice,“ says Jan Rudzinskyj of the Aviation Fair organizing team.

“Solo aerobatics are certainly an impressive experience for any spectator, but when four aerobatic aircraft fly in tight formation, the spectacle becomes even more powerful. Formation aerobatics is extremely demanding, so it’s no surprise that there are only a few teams in the world capable of performing it. Without exaggeration, the very best and still active teams could be counted on one hand. One of them, for several decades now, has been the Czech Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team, which will also be performing at this year’s Aviation Fair,” adds aviation journalist Petr Kolmann.
He continues: “The team is a regular at the Aviation Fair, and there is no other performer in the event’s history who has appeared more consistently. This year marks the 33rd edition of the Aviation Fair, and the team has only missed three of them — and only because they were performing at distant international events. That means we’ll be seeing their four-ship aerobatic performance over Pardubice for the 30th time this year,” says Kolmann.
The Aviation Fair offers a traditional all-day program for the whole family. On both Saturday and Sunday, visitors can enjoy a vibrant ground program with a variety of displays and activities for both children and adults. The flying program itself will last over five hours.
