🇬🇧 PR9 – A 20th anniversary of Aviation Fair regular participant!

In the program of this year’s 32nd year of the Aviation Fair, taking place on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd, 2024 in Pardubice, pilots of the Pardubice Aviation Training Center will perform for the audience in the skies of Pardubice as well. The center has been training military pilots for two decades now and is based at the airport in Pardubice.

„The citizens of Pardubice can see the Aviation Training Center planes almost every day during normal training operations, but the demonstrations at the Aviation Fair always show much more of the experienced instructors flying skills,“ says Jan Rudzinskyj from the organizing staff of the Aviation Fair and continues: „The Aviation Training Center was created in 2004 and is thus celebrating a round anniversary this year. For those twenty years, it has always been an Aviation Fair partner, and his year won`t be an exception. At the airport, visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the entire fleet used for training in a static display. From Enstrom 480B-G and Mi-17 helicopters, L-39C Albatros jets, Zliny Z-142C AF propellers to L-410UVP transport planes. There will also be an EV-97 ultralight plane. Pilots will also demonstrate their skills in flight performances. And since CLV also operates rare historical machines belonging to the Military Historical Institute Prague, we can look forward to the presentation of such a gem as the legendary C-11 trainer from the 1950s piloted by Tomáš Bruštík. C-11 aircraft were produced in Czechoslovakia under Soviet license by SPP factory in Kunovice. Originally, it was a Yakovlev Yak-11, whose direct predecessors were Yak fighter from the Second World War,“ adds Jan Rudzinskyj. The historic C-11 aircraft will also be joined in the air by the ageless L-39C Albatros and the basic training machine Zlin Z-142C AF, which will be demonstrated masterfully by CLV instructor and the most famous Czech acrobat Martin Šonka.

The Aviation Fair is a traditional all-day program for the whole family. On Saturday and Sunday, there is also a rich ground program with a number of performances and activities for children and adults. The flight program itself will last over five hours.
