CHILDREN’S DAY – COMPETITIONS – ARMY TECHNOLOGY – FIRE FIGHTERS – RAF PERIOD CAMPS – RECONNAISSANCE FLIGHTS – PRISON SERVICE AND FOREIGN POLICE ACTION PERFORMANCE.
One of the largest air shows in the Czech Republic, Ing. Jan Kašpar`s Aviation Fair, is drawing near and will welcome his supporters at the Pardubice airport for the thirty-second time. Those who visit this event regularly know, the all-day program also offers interesting activities and presentations on the ground. Both children and adults alike will once again enjoy themselves.
Children will traditionally celebrate International Children’s Day with our partners. They will be able to test their physical abilities and knowledge at approximately fifteen stations.
„What tasks await the children, we won’t fully reveal now, but what we can promise is the first prize for one drawn competitor. It is a tour worth CZK 40,000 from Fischer travel agency according to your choice. A sightseeing flight by helicopter, model airplanes and a number of other prizes are waiting for the other winners,“ says Aviation Fair organizing staff member Majka Schillerová.
History lovers can once again look forward to an engaging exhibition about Czechoslovak RAF squadrons, professional and volunteer firefighters will also participate. Airplanes go well together with shiny car hoods, and they will definitely not be missing in Pardubice either.
Young and old will certainly spend a lot of time in the aircraft shelter area 1 – 6. The Czech Army, the Czech Air Force and LOM Praha, s.p., CLV Pardubice exhibit a large amount of military and aviation equipment. A large group of enthusiasts, modelers from all over the Czech Republic are heading to Pardubice again. Therefore, do not miss their exhibition in aircraft shelter 13.
The good spirit and lord of Krkonoše mountains – Krakonoš himself will visit Pardubice for the first time. You will be able to take a picture with him and also with aviator Jan Kašpar at the historic Blériot. Lovers of outdoor escape games can try their luck in the aviation escape game „Let’s fly with Kaspar“. The first prize, an introductory flight for one person from CLV Pardubice, is sure to please.
Other experiential activities certainly include good food and drink. From international cuisine to traditional Czech ham will satisfy the taste buds of many a visitor. There will be plenty of goodies in the two gastro zones (west, east) and in the aviation restaurant in hive 10.
On both days, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., you can see Pardubice and its surroundings from a bird’s eye view. Familiarization flights with two helicopters are available for visitors. If you don’t dare to sit in it, that’s okay. You can also try the flight virtually, with our aviation squadron in aircraft shelter 9.
As part of the accompanying program, we would invite visitors at 10:30 to a historic mission briefing in the tent of the exhibition of RAF airmen. After the 11:00, the eyes of the spectators will be directed to the grass area in the 3D spaces. The Prison Service of the Czech Republic and the Foreign Police of the Czech Republic will present dynamic demonstrations for the first time at the Aviation Fair. The ceremonial opening with guests and partners will traditionally take place before 12:00. At noon, the flight program of the aircraft of the Army of the Czech Republic will begin.
