We have become accustomed to the fact that the regular participants of the Aviation Fair also include historical machines from the Austrian Hangar 7 collection. We will continue this tradition this year and in the flight program of the 32nd edition of the Aviation Fair, which will take place on the weekend of 1st and 2nd June 2024 in Pardubice, where historical gems with characteristic bulls on their sides will once again be presented to the audience.
„We have been encountering aircraft with characteristic red bulls at the Aviation Fairs for almost a quarter of a century, during which time we have seen many interesting performances in the skies of Pardubice. Recently, the newly operated aircraft in the collection of Hangar 7 in Salzburg have been given a colour scheme in which the bulls are no longer red and their shade is matched to the overall colour. Similar scheme was adopted for the new T-28B Trojan aircraft, which will be presented for the first time at this year’s Aviation Fair“ says Jan Rudzinskyj from the Aviation Fair Organizing Staff. „Not only it will be its Czech premiere in the new colours, but also one of the first performances in Europe. The demonstrated Trojan aircraft was produced in 1955 as one of less than five hundred units of more powerful naval version of the T-28B. In total, less than two thousand Trojans of all versions were produced. Prior to being acquired for The Flying Bulls, this particular Trojan had served in four military air forces and with several private operators. It also participated in the wars over Vietnam and Laos.
At the beginning of this year, the Trojan was given a flattering color scheme in a white and blue combination. You will be able to see for yourself how such colouring will look like in the skies of Pardubice on the weekend of 1st and 2nd of June,“ adds Jan Rudzinskyj.
The Aviation Fair is a traditional all-day program for the whole family. On Saturday and Sunday, there is also a rich ground program with a number of presentations and activities for children and adults. The flight program itself will last over five hours.
